ATLANTA, GA, Dec 21, 2017 – Gilbane Building Company is proud to announce Brian Steed has been appointed as business unit leader for the Southeast. He will provide executive level oversight for the geographic areas of Georgia and South Carolina.
Steed has 23 years of industry experience, with a strong background in educational construction, and has consistently shown extensive leadership credentials in planning and operations and strategy. During his tenure with Gilbane, he has been serving as vice president and operations manager overseeing local projects such as Cobb County’s Walton High School, State of Georgia Judicial Complex, University of South Carolina School of Law, Georgia Tech Van Leer Interdisciplinary Commons and multiple projects for Johnson & Johnson. In his new role, he will continue to increase Gilbane’s presence and market share with a focus on k-12 and higher education, multi-family, commercial and healthcare while developing the overall business strategy with a focus on metro Atlanta and Columbia, South Carolina.

Steed has been with Gilbane for 14 years beginning his career in the Atlanta office. He is a graduate of Auburn University where he received a bachelor degree in Civil Engineering.
