Flow-Cal Releases FLOWCAL Enterprise v10

Flow-Cal has announced the release of FLOWCAL Enterprise version 10.0. This release introduces the user interface (UI) and the first phase of enhancements to aide upstream and midstream companies in meeting new Bureau of Land Management (BLM) compliance requirements.

First launched in 1995, FLOWCAL Enterprise was developed as a corporate solution to help oil and gas companies manage the enormous amounts of data collected from flow computers and other EFM devices. With Version 10, FLOWCAL is beginning the transition to a more modern interface and development platform, while still maintaining the features used to automate and streamline measurement operations.

The launch of FLOWCAL 10 includes a new main menu and a customizable dashboard that prominently displays commonly used features. The FLOWCAL design will be implemented throughout other areas of the application over multiple releases.

In addition to the technology and UI improvements, FLOWCAL 10 provides several enhancements to help operators comply with recent changes to BLM regulations. FLOWCAL 10 includes new fields such as FMP Number, Lease, CA and PA numbers, volume tiering designations and heating value uncertainty, as well as gas quality enhancements and numerous updated reports. Through a phased approach, FLOWCAL 10 will continue to deliver additional features to help identify, track, and generate reports related to BLM meters.

The next release of FLOWCAL 10 is planned for May 2018 and will include the latest set of newly designed screens, such as the Exception Viewer, along with phase two of the BLM enhancements.
