ESTECO Seeks Papers for modeFRONTIER Users Meeting

estecoNOVI, MI, July 29, 2015 –  The biennial modeFRONTIER Users’ Meeting, dedicated to users of the design optimization software, will be held on November 4-5 in Novi, Michigan. Registration and call for presentations are now open: ESTECO UM15.

Based on last year’s numbers, this year’s event is expected to play host to more than 100 attendees and showcase real world industrial cases with speakers from prominent companies such as Ford, Toyota, Bombardier, MMI Engineering, AES and Whirlpool. Optimization experts at past meetings have included John Mannisto, Engineering Director for Simulation Based Design at Whirlpool Corporation and Ren-Jye Yang, senior technical leader at Ford Motor Company.

The complexity of engineering processes represents a critical challenge in an increasingly demanding and competitive market. While time-to-market is decreasing, the number of scientific disciplines and departments involved in the process chain is increasing, giving rise to design projects that cross disciplinary and geographic boundaries. ESTECO’s technology enables specialists to focus on their field of expertise and embrace process integration, technology, simulation and optimization know-how.

As a testament to the company’s innovative forward-thinking solutions, the UM15 agenda this year also includes presentations on the industrial applications of the SOMO enterprise collaboration and distributed execution framework, which extends modeFRONTIER’s optimization capabilities to a web-based environment – opening the doors to implementing enterprise multidisciplinary design optimization projects on a truly global scale.

The meeting is the perfect opportunity for modeFRONTIER users from diverse industrial sectors and the world of academia to exchange and compare ideas. modeFRONTIER users will testify to the versatility of the software and, given their different backgrounds, provide interesting starting points for future applications and innovations.
