Elysium Updates CADfeature 14.5 EX8.0

HAMAMATSU, Japan, July 5, 2018 – Elysium, a global interoperability solutions provider, announces an upgrade for CADfeature 14.5 EX8.0, addressing new support for data translation from Solid Edge.

Key Enhancements for Translation from Solid Edge include:

Parts

  • B-rep only, thread features, attributes

Assemblies

  • Product structure, assembly constraints, attributes
  • Family Members

Drawings

  • Associative drawings and views

CADfeature lets users remaster part and assembly histories, parameters, dimensions, sketches, and constraints as well as relationships among features. CADfeature preserves the design intent of legacy and other source CAD files by transferring the full formula used to define a model’s geometry. Once CADfeature has mapped data over to the target CAD system, it creates a quality assessment report that allows users to take a deeper look into the results.
