GLOUCESTERSHIRE, UK, Jan 5, 2017 – Edgecam have appointed a new area sales manager to cover the South of England. Gareth Henwood joins the Vero Software brand from West Country Tools Ltd, where he was technical sales manager, responsible for key customers who spent up to £2.5m a year.
Edgecam UK sales manager David Rogers says: “Gareth Henwood has many years experience and technical knowledge gained in production manufacturing…including 12 years managing the engineering side of TWM Technology’s business, in charge of the CNC workshop team and toolroom.”
He also has hands-on experience of using Edgecam, and has worked with tooling manufacturers and machine tool OEMs to reduce cycle times on customer parts.
His career began as a press toolmaker after completing his EITB Technician apprenticeship in the late 1980s. In his new role with Edgecam he will also be responsible for highlighting its integration of PartXplore to customers across Southern England from Cornwall, through Avon and Suffolk, to Greater London and Kent.
Golf, motor sport, cooking and camping are listed amongst his interests, and he is also a retained fire fighter in the Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service.
