Dutch’s Stabiplan Partners with N+P GmbH for BIM

Stabiplan_logoBODEGRAVEN, Netherlands, Sep 18, 2014 – IT consultants and systems specialists N+P Informationssysteme GmbH (N+P) and Stabiplan, the Dutch specialist for home automation software, will be working closely together in the German market. The aim of the partnership is to combine the expertise of both companies and thus push the concept of building information modeling (BIM) to the next level.

NP Informationssysteme_logoStabiplan is European leader in the development of CAD-based design software for home automation. Points of interest: Stabicad is compatible with multiple platforms, with functionality available for both Autodesk Revit MEP and AutoCAD. In addition, Stabiplan offers a web platform at MEPcontent.eu that provides current graphical product information for leading manufacturers and suppliers. The company collaborates with more than one hundred European companies on this project. Thanks to the partnership agreement with N+P, users of Autodesk Revit MEP and AutoCAD can now purchase Stabiplan software in Germany and use all of its features. Noteworthy here is the seamless exchange of data between platforms without the loss of data, perfect for building information modeling.

“No matter how valuable knowledge and experience are, putting these into practice on a daily basis is about going one step further. It’s all about information. BIM requires that parties share their information. This leads to other forms of cooperation, new business models and eventually changes in the relationship with clients. This is why we’re making our solution available on the two market-leading platforms AutoCAD and Autodesk Revit MEP,” says Edwin Schalk, business development director at Stabiplan, describing the current situation.

Stefan Schrenk, head of the AEC department at N+P and active for many years in the field of BIM, adds: “What our customers really want to know nowadays is what building information modeling is going to mean for their business. Our job as a systems specialist, therefore, is to accompany the process with technically clean-cut advice and deliver precisely tailored and intelligent IT solutions for the tasks at hand. Stabiplan’s software lets us seamlessly integrate TGA planning into building information modeling, both in the areas of planning and in construction. Moreover: further integration of the data into N+P’s own CAFM software SPARTACUS Facility Management means the BIM philosophy is supported by us on the software-side right to the point of operation.”
