CAMARILLO, CA, Oct 19, 2015 – DP Technology, developer of ESPRIT CAM software, attracted over 1,000 visitors to its exhibit at the EMO 2015 trade show in Milano, Italy and generated 300 qualified leads. “The response to our exhibit demonstrates the popularity of ESPRIT and that European metalworking companies are more concerned than ever with increasing productivity,” said Luca Ruggiero, country manager Italy for DP Technology. David Meynaud, indirect sales manager Europe, added that: “EMO is a strong opportunity for networking and meeting new prospects. Most of our partners and integrators also visited our exhibit to discuss new and on-going projects.”
ESPRIT 2015 helps increase productivity for a full range of machine tool applications by generating more efficient toolpaths while also saving time by providing substantial improvements in computer numerical control (CNC) programming productivity. Besides increasing productivity, the new release also provides many new and improved features specifically in the areas of intelligent machining, strategic machining, CAD-CAM data exchange and cloud-enabled CAM.
Visitors to EMO could receive customized demonstrations from CADCAM experts on the ESPRIT booth, but also see ESPRIT software in action at the booths of many machine tool builders including Okuma, Citizen, Nakamura-Tome, EMCO, FFG, Tsugami and Hurco, who presented their machines programed by ESPRIT. DP Technology works closely with these and other machine tool builders to develop its software and create post processors that are tested by each manufacturer and debugged to ensure that ESPRIT will run smoothly on all machine models.
A new partnership between ESPRIT and FFG, one of the largest machine-tools builders, was announced at EMO 2015. “ESPRIT is able to support more of our specifications than any other CAM software provider that we have worked with,” said Jürgen Reingen, head of development for FFG. “The customer support provided by DP Technology and resellers is also very knowledgeable, comprehensive and prompt.”
The next opportunities to see ESPRIT in action will be at SIANE in Toulouse, METAV in Düsseldorf, INDUSTRIE in Paris, MACH in Birmingham, BIEMH in Bilbao and AMB in Stuttgart, not to mention all the local events and fairs in Europe, where ESPRIT is each time represented by its large distribution network.
