MALMÖ, Sweden, Feb 1, 2016 – BIMobject announces today that senior executive Doug Bevill has joined the company as the new president for BIMobject Inc. The US head office will also be moved to St. Louis, Missouri during February, to be closer to the building product manufacturers. A St. Louis office is a strategic decision, as they now enter into the next phase of our US market strategy.
Alan Akman has established their operations and brand in the US in very short time. He made great progress in setting up the structure, executing legal and branding activities, as well as formalizing all relationships with the software and IT industry in Silicon Valley. BIMobject Inc. now moves into the next phase, where sales execution and close project work is vital, and St. Louis is a much better choice. It will be lead by Doug Bevill, a seasoned industry executive. Doug’s experience includes 18 years at McGraw Hill Construction and he has managed several building product manufacturers in the US market.
BIMobject will now intensify efforts to increase market penetration in the US, through the hiring of both technical and sales staff at the new location in St. Louis. Alan Akman will pursue his career outside BIMobject.
