VANCOUVER, Canada, Apr 25, 2016 – Transoft Solutions Inc., developers of innovative and productive transportation engineering software solutions, has announced that Daniel Shihundu has rejoined the company of which he was an instrumental part of. Mr. Shihundu will play a key role in the company’s reorganization and its planned expansion initiatives. In his new position as director of design products, Mr. Shihundu will be tasked with building Transoft’s business related to its Transportation and Civil Design products, which includes TORUS Roundabouts, NEXUS Intersections and the company’s latest additions, ROAD CEM and SITE CEM.

Mr. Shihundu has an MBA and is a professional engineer in several engineering associations with over 20 years of civil/transportation engineering experience. He was member of Transoft’s senior management team when he started in 2007. While at Transoft, Mr. Shihundu was the lead researcher and product manager responsible for the development of two of the company’s outstanding products: TORUS Roundabouts and NEXUS Intersections. Together with the Product Management division, he also spearheaded the patenting of the Vehicle Envelope Method of Design technology used in said software.
