CTC Appoints Mike Hnastchenko as Director of Innovation

CTClogoMINNEAPOLIS, MN, Nov 24, 2014 – CTC announces the hiring of Mike Hnastchenko, AIA, to join as the director of innovation. Mike will be sharing his expertise in design and BIM technologies in a senior leadership role. He will focus on improving the depth and breadth of CTC’s Revit Express Tools product line, BIM data integration, BIM360 applications and identifying future industry trends for owners, architects, engineers and construction.

As a licensed architect and technology leader, Mike’s career path evolved from his Principal leadership role to most recently, a senior leader in Target’s Property Development Group. As head of information technology and digital design at Ellerbe Becket/AECOM he was responsible for all aspects of strategic information technology and systems planning with a focus on practice, as well as business, technology. His knowledge, experience and ability to forecast industry trends was apparent in his work on major BIM projects including Orlando VA Medical Center, Kaiser Permanente Hospitals, and Sidra Medical Center in Doha Qatar. As a senior leader in Target’s Property Development Group, Mike led the transition of the AEC teams to the Autodesk Revit Platform. This resulted in delivering BIM standards across new distribution centers and, Target stores in the US and Canada.
