CST Announces Keynote Speakers for European User Conf 2017

cst_logoDARMSTADT, Germany, Mar 15, 2017 – Computer Simulation Technology AG (CST) invites users to the European User Conference (EUC) 2017 at the Science & Congress Center darmstadtium, Darmstadt for a program of technical presentations and workshops. The conference will see keynote speeches on virtual environments, modern antenna design, lean engineering, and simulation in space programs.

The CST EUC offers a collaborative and educational environment where engineers using CST STUDIO SUITE tools can exchange ideas and talk with CST staff about future developments. The main EUC sessions will run from April 27 – 28 and will feature focus sessions for different application areas, such as electromagnetic compatibility and antennas, and industries such as bio-medical devices and energy.

In addition, on April 26, 2017, they will host a one-day Aerospace Workshop at the Science & Congress Center darmstadtium, with CST and customer presentations focused on the needs of the aerospace industry.

This year, the EUC keynotes will be delivered by Dr. Georg Schwab, managing director of AVL Software and Functions, who will speak about future development methodologies with virtual environments, and Dr.-Ing. Roland Rathgeber, senior expert RF Methods & Tools at KATHREIN-Werke, who will talk about how CST STUDIO SUITE is used in a leading antenna company.

The Aerospace Workshop will also feature keynote speeches from Dr. Siegbert Martin, head of Passive Microwave Products at Tesat-Spacecom, on lean engineering processes for a smart factory, and by Piermario Besso, head of Antenna and Infrastructure Section at ESA/ESOC who will talk about EM simulations applications and challenges in the European space program.

User presentations are at the heart of CST’s user conferences. Alongside the technical sessions, a social program will give users the chance to network and discuss their simulations with other experts in the field.
“Our European User Conferences are always a highlight of our calendar,” said Dr. Martin Timm, director of global marketing, CST. “We look forward to seeing our users’ presentations and hearing their suggestions for the future direction of our products.”
