CSC to Merge with Tekla in October

CSC-Trimble-LogoKENNESAW, GA, Aug 21, 2014 – Following the acquisition of CSC by Trimble in November 2013, CSC is merging with Tekla in early October. As part of the Trimble family, both CSC and Tekla deliver innovative engineering software covering analysis, design and building information modelling. CSC customers will still deal with the same CSC colleagues as before but they will soon be introducing themselves as representing Tekla. Merging CSC with Tekla will make Tekla a much stronger company for customers in the engineering market, and both CSC and Tekla customers will now benefit from a fuller and more rounded portfolio of products and services.

As with any merger of two international companies there are many changes to implement but customers will start to notice more and more of these over the coming weeks including:

• The CSC website will change to www.tekla.com.
• All communications regarding CSC software will show the Tekla name.
• Existing sales and support contacts will start to introduce themselves as Tekla.
• Product service packs, support updates and marketing communications will start to come from Tekla.
• All future invoices will show the Tekla name and not CSC.
