BURLINGTON, MA, Apr 29, 2015 – COMSOL, Inc., the leading provider of multiphysics simulation and analysis software, announced the expansion of its office in Palo Alto, California. The office provides the local team with a larger facility for expanded sales and support for the growing community of the COMSOL Multiphysics software users. Services include local sales, technical support, training sessions, and on-site workshops and customer visits.

The new office in Palo Alto is in response to growing demand for COMSOL Multiphysics simulation and analysis software for R&D around the world. Silicon Valley scientists and engineers from leading organizations – including Palo Alto Research Center (PARC), UC Berkeley, and Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory – are using COMSOL Multiphysics in areas such as semiconductor wafer processing, heart cell growth and tissue morphology, and alternative energy storage.

The opening of the expanded Palo Alto office comes on the heels of the company’s release of COMSOL Multiphysics version 5.1 and the Application Builder. Simulation experts can now benefit from a fully integrated environment where they can create models with COMSOL Multiphysics, build simulation apps with the Application Builder, and share these apps with non-experts via the COMSOL Server license. Upcoming events in Silicon Valley include the COMSOL version 5.1 & Application Builder Workshop in Sacramento, California.
