LJUBLJANNA, Slovenia, Sep 1, 2015 – As an industry leading developer of civil engineering and AEC software, a Bricsys partner, and longtime member of the Autodesk Developer’s Network, CGS plus announced the release of the 2016 versions of their software products, which can be categorized into three distinct groups:
- High-end infrastructure solutions: Plateia (for roadway design), Ferrovia (for railway design), Aquaterra (for river engineering),and Electra (for electric power-line design)
- Applications: Autopath (swept-path analysis), Autosign (traffic signs and markings), and Aquaflood (flood-protection)
- Productivity tools: CGS Civil 3D Tools and CGS Revit Tools

In addition to 3D and BIM support, Šajn says the 2016 versions of CGS plus software also include the following: new road intersections design features; complex vehicles support for swept-path analysis; improved turnouts; and new rail connections for rail design and wind-load parameters for electric power lines design. A special version of Autosign, a software application for traffic plans design, is also now available in the United States, complete with a library of all U.S. traffic signs. Different content packages are also now available for Plateia, Ferrovia, and Aquaterra, which gives CGS plus customers a choice between Standard, Professional, and Ultimate configurations.
