Cetrus Releases Process MeterV2 for Autodesk Suite

unnamedSAN RAMON, CA, Dec 1, 2015 – Cetrus, the leader in real-time desktop application use monitoring today announced Process MeterV2 with Autodesk Suite extensions, which allow monitoring for all Autodesk license deployment types and Suite packages. Available immediately, Process MeterV2 monitors desktop applications in real time to report usage activity. Usage information is enriched in real time with attributes including license key location/type and application and server association. Autodesk application attribute reporting includes Active versus Inactive/Idle sessions, user and group comparisons and concurrent trending/usage reporting. This information informs Autodesk and engineering application users about their current and future licensing and application decisions with actual activity data.

Cetrus is launching Process MeterV2 at Autodesk University 2015 in Las Vegas.  Interested Autodesk users can get personalized demonstrations at Cetrus’ booth, number 662.

“Cetrus has provided a great tool for Autodesk application monitoring,” says Scott Dibben, technical manager at Autodesk reseller D3 TECHNOLOGIES. “We look forward to building a service that will include the Process Meter platform.”

Project-oriented, professional services firms can use Cetrus Expense-2-Project, a patent-pending extension that associates application usage to projects for reimbursement, internal charge-back or time/resource tracking.

“Process Meter provides amazing information,” says Uri Eliahu, president of ENGEO, an engineering firm of more than 250 professionals. “Before we had the data from Process Meter, we had no idea how many concurrent users we actually had. We were able to reduce the number of licenses of several engineering applications we were using. In addition, we were able to get reimbursed for project-based software usage through Cetrus’ Expense-2-Project application.”

Cetrus helps enterprises maximize software asset value and increase efficiency. “Process Meter lets organizations capture discrete, real-time usage information from expensive engineering applications. Existing software asset management solutions don’t gather real-time data, and aren’t point-of-use focused, so they can’t compare license usage by license type or attributes such as location or group,” says Erik Hoogerhuis, vice president of sales and marketing at Cetrus. “We’ve received extremely positive feedback from Autodesk resellers that Process MeterV2’s license usage and trending information is a game changer in providing improved visibility and asset management to their customers.”
