Centric Opens Office in Göteborg, Sweden

Leveraging the success with its first Scandinavian customer, Norrøna, a Norway-based leading outdoor clothing and sports gear brand, Centric Software plans to develop a market throughout Scandinavia. Norrøna adopted Centric 8 PLM software for retail, apparel, footwear, luxury and consumer goods to support its ambitious plans for growth and innovation.

“Norrøna has been successfully using Centric 8 PLM for over a year now. The solution supports the overall product development process – product specifications, materials management, sourcing, quality and calendar management – which are all critical to our business. Centric helps our teams deliver better, high-end quality products. With the opening of their office here in Sweden, we are convinced we made the right decision in selecting Centric as a partner,” says Norrøna product development manager Alexandre Aubry.

“We welcome Centric Software as a new member of our fashion association and the Swedish fashion companies’ network. It is important for the industry to understand how to structure the very creative work of product planning, design and sourcing to be really competitive in this challenging market,” says Nanette Espinasse, CEO of marketplace borås

“Centric 8 and Centric Cloud PLM, tailored for small businesses, are great opportunities for companies that are searching for a PLM solution to help them be more competitive,” explains Daniel di Benedetto, Centric’s Regional Director for the Nordic and Baltic countries. “Centric will support the local fashion industry with intuitive, easy-to-use, web- and mobile-based PLM software that provides a ’single version of the truth’ solution. Centric’s mobile applications, which are the first to be developed in the sector, keep product teams connected at all times to aid product design development and execution,” concludes di Benedetto.

“Building close bonds with Nordic companies is critical to supporting the local industry. We look forward to forging deeper partnerships with great brands like Norrøna, and associations like Marketplace Borås,” says Chris Groves, CEO of Centric.
