CallisonRTKL Promotes Kelly Farrell to Sr VP

BALTIMORE, MD, Apr 11, 2016 – CallisonRTKL, the global architecture, planning and design firm, has promoted architect Kelly Farrell, AIA, LEED AP BD+C, to senior vice president and named her as global practice group leader for workplace. CallisonRTKL also elevated ten to vice president positions. These leaders bring a diversity of experience and expertise to CallisonRTKL’s commercial, retail, healthcare and workplace practice groups, as well as its firmwide services group in the Baltimore, Chicago, Dallas, Dubai, Los Angeles, Seattle, Shanghai and Washington, D.C. offices.

Kelly Farrell, AIA, LEED AP BD+C, has been elevated to senior vice president in CallisonRTKL’s Los Angeles office as well as global practice group leader for workplace, responsible for overseeing the firm’s work with corporate and public clients, multi-national corporations and mission critical projects. Known for her ability to lead complex projects from concept to reality, she has developed a reputation for working closely with her clients to generate design solutions that are responsive, sustainable and pragmatic.

Newly appointed vice presidents include the following:

Noel Aveton, ASLA, vice president (Dallas)

A landscape architect and planner, Noel has developed a global portfolio of public and private development projects, as well as major urban design and mixed-use projects, new communities, and regional and urban parks.

Chris Beza, AIA, vice president (Seattle)

Chris has worked throughout North America, the Middle East and Africa on a range of commercial projects. He brings to his work a keen understanding of budgets and a pragmatic approach to meeting even the most demanding scheduling demands.

Larry Byars, vice president (Dallas)

With a background in business and finance, Larry has become an invaluable strategic resource in defining the firm’s position in the Southwest United States. His expertise spans the full range of operational functions, including P&L, accounting, client relations, administration and legal.

Cody Clark, LEED GA, vice president (Los Angeles)

Cody leads the environmental graphics studio in the firm’s Los Angeles office. He has worked on comprehensive wayfinding systems, identity and signage for virtually every project type, from multi-family residential and mixed-use to retail centers and entertainment districts.

Eric Dinges, AIA, CSSGB, vice president (Washington D.C.)

Eric is a key member of the healthcare practice group, He leads clients through all phases of design, production and construction for a range of project types covering acute and ambulatory care facilities to ground-up replacement hospitals.

Kyle Jeffrey LEED AP, vice president (Dallas)

A solid manager as well as a strong creative thinker, Kyle works with retailers around the world in developing environments that connect with and inspire consumers.

Margi Kaminski, ASID, NCIDQ, CSSGB, vice president (Chicago)

A recognized leader in healthcare design, Margi has more than 20 years’ experience in planning and designing healthcare interiors that improve patient quality of life. She has been responsible for driving projects encompassing cancer centers to community hospitals to neighborhood clinics throughout the U.S.

Bill Kwon, vice president (Chicago)

Since beginning his career at CallisonRTKL over a decade ago, Bill Kwon has transitioned from his role as an architect to managing the firm’s BIM implementation. Kwon’s focus is on shaping projects that measure up against performance metrics and goals by providing seamless administration of technology tools and a superior level of support to users.

Andrew Liu, AIA, NCARB, LEED AP BD+C, vice president (Manila)

Andrew oversees the firm’s operations in Manila. He has a proven track record in building relationships with leading global developers, city agencies and construction companies, and brings more than 20 years of experience in mixed-use, high-rise office and residential towers throughout Southeast Asia.

Tony Warner, CTS-D, CDT, LEED AP, vice president (Baltimore)

Tony is a recognized leader in the technology industry and a key member of CallisonRTKL’s technology design studio. He is a key resource for understanding and interpreting best practices for the ever-evolving technology industry and its growing importance in today’s built environment.
