CADSoftTools Releases ABViewer v12.1

TULA, Russia, Apr 11, 2018 – CADSoftTools has announced ABViewer 12.1, a new minor version of a multifunctional program for work with DWG, DXF and other CAD files as well as 3D models.

The latest version of ABViewer includes the following list of improvements:

  • new and more convenient G-code generation interface with extended features
  • PDF to DWG conversion improved
  • 3D import optimized

The most prominent improvements were applied to DWG/DXF to G-code conversion.

Earlier the program allowed saving drawings to the .nc file format for its further processing in CNC machines. This year this functionality has been completely revised and now ABViewer has a full-functional DWG/DXF to G-code converter.

The main window of the CAD to G-code converter includes different options allowing the user to control tool movement as well as select contours for conversion. The drawing is displayed in the interactive preview pane that shows changes of the tool properties.

Before conversion the user can configure the required settings in the updated G-code settings window. E.g. the user can select machine type, adjust specific settings, add tools etc.

When the drawing is converted, G-code becomes available in the preview pane too. After it the user can save this code as .nc.
