BobCAD-CAM Launches Student CAD CAM Contest

Students Can Enter This Contest To Win CAD/CAM Software:

The Manufacturers of The Future educational program in combination with pioneer CAD/CAM provider BobCAD/CAM, Inc have come together to launch this new contest. For 30 years BobCAD/CAM has provided CAD/CAM software to the manufacturing industry and has just released their new Version 28 CAD/CAM software. They have joined efforts with the Manufacturers of The Future educational program to invite students throughout the country to participate in innovation and CNC programming to compete for prizes that include 3 Axis CAD/CAM software for their efforts. Students from all over the country can join and compete for CAD/CAM. There are no age limitations or requirements other than having to use BobCAD/CAM software to participate. Students in:

  • Mechanical Engineering
  • CAD Drafting
  • CNC Programming
  • CAD/CAM Programming & Others
  • CNC Machining

Any student can all participate that wants to win a 2D & 3D CAD/CAM system starting August 10, 2015 Through October 31, 2015

Contest entry is open to all manufacturing students who wish to participate to win. The rules are simple as such:

  • Design a part & program the toolpath within BobCAD/CAM software.
  • Create 1 screen image of the part with dimensions.
  • Document CAD features and CAM features that were used.
  • Post it to MOTF Facebook page & Twitter page.

Contest Awards:

3 of the best entries will be selected based on the most creative part, the most difficult part and the part that received the most social media “likes”. Each of the 3 winning contestants will be contacted and awarded a full license version of the new BobCAD/CAM V28 3 Axis Mill Standard CNC Programming software.
