BlueCielo Appoints Daniel Cozza as CTO

BlueCielo_logoHOOFDORP, Netherlands, Feb 25, 2016 -The Supervisory Board of BlueCielo Group BV announced the appointment of Daniel Cozza as chief technology officer with effect from January 17, 2016. The appointment of Daniel Cozzaas CTO reflects BlueCielo’s investment in a broader strategy to extend the company’s market offering.

BlueCielo is moving increasingly into the cloud and focusing on mobile solutions to meet customer needs Mr. Cozza brings highly relevant expertise, particularly from his most recent ventures. At Vela Systems, his team delivered the first mobile app for the construction industry, bringing rich functionality and a modern user experience to construction jobsites. Following a successful acquisition by Autodesk, he led the construction business portfolio, building the fastest-growing SaaS business in Autodesk history.

At BlueCielo, Daniel Cozza is responsible for global product strategy, development, operations and support.

Daniel Cozza has a background in the demanding field of engineering software.With over 20 years of experience, Mr. Cozza has held technology leadership roles in a variety of companies, ranging from start-ups to large companies, in various industries. Most recently, he led the Construction business at Autodesk. Prior to that, he was CTO of Vela Systems, which was acquired by Autodesk. Mr. Cozza has a Bachelor’s of Science in both Mathematics and Computer Science from Tufts University in Massachusetts, U.S.A.
