MALMÖ, Sweden, Oct 30, 2015 – The new cloud solution allows BIMobject customers to create and maintain wall system configurations directly on the BIMobject Cloud platform for immediate distribution to all BIMobject users as complete construction solutions.
BIMobject shows technology leadership by announcing the launch of new BIMobject Mosquito Wall Systems Cloud App with the aim of automating and speeding up the development of construction solutions for walls.
The BIMobject Mosquito Wall Systems uses all available building materials published in the BIMobject Cloud to create a combination of materials into a wall system. This means that a wall system configuration can be created by using building materials from different brands, as well as combining it with generic materials.

With an interactive 3D view and easy-to-use product administration, setting up construction solutions into the cloud is done quickly. The Mosquito technology generates wall systems, directly usable for Revit and ArchiCAD. The result is downloadable BIM objects that can be used in the entire project. Each wall system can be given comprehensive properties such as fire resistance, mass, sound transmission class as well as R- and U-values. The BIMobject Mosquito Wall Systems will also enable automatization of the BIM object production. External databases are able to hold the properties of these construction solutions and they can be imported in order to automatically create thousands of configurations on the BIMobject Cloud.
The wall systems are a very important part of a design intent model in the BIM process and its properties are necessary to compute energy and bill of material values in Revit and ArchiCAD.
