BASF Selects AVEVA for Smart Manufacturing Program

CAMBRIDGE, UK, June 26, 2018 – AVEVA, a global leader in engineering and industrial software, announced BASF selected AVEVA1 to accelerate their strategic Smart Manufacturing program. BASF will implement AVEVA’s Enterprise Asset Performance Management (APM) solution to improve connectivity of people, processes and equipment, creating additional value for their customers through greater asset availability and workforce efficiency.

Several aspects of BASF’s Smart Manufacturing program will be supported by AVEVA’s flexible, easy to use platform, including Augmented Reality and Predictive Maintenance applications. BASF will leverage these solutions to empower their workforce and monitor critical assets on a global scale to predict equipment failures before they occur.
