Bachmann Releases M-Target for Simulink v2.20

The M-Target for Simulink version 2.20, which is available at Bachmann electronic as of now, provides an interface between MATLAB and the M1 real-time control system. Using the MATLAB console or scripts it is possible to read online values directly from the control system and immediately make them available for further calculations and evaluations. This extension is available for all CPU classes. The new version is rounded off with additional improvements and support up to MATLAB/Simulink R2018a.

This enables model-based development using the latest engineering tools. MDB is especially used when a system is comprised of several complex subsystems or creating a necessary prototype would blow the project budget both financially and timewise. With M-Target for Simulink, code generated from a simulation model is installed directly on the M1 real-time system where it is executed as an autonomous application. Neither manual steps nor additional engineering tools are required. M-Target for Simulink V2.20 extends this direct path of model-based development.
