Barry Wehmiller Int’l Lands $3M Windchill Deal with Secure-24

barry-wehmiller-international_logoST LOUIS, MO, Oct 24, 2014 – Barry Wehmiller International (B-WI) has signed a five-year support agreement valued at $3.2 million with Detroit hosting company Secure-24 to support a multi-billion dollar global automotive supplier in PTC Windchill product lifecycle management services and application lifecycle management services, effective September 2014.

Secure-24, a global cloud and IT hosting leader, pursued B-WI in early 2013 to develop a partnership that would support the client’s product lifecycle management (PLM) and application lifecycle management (ALM) strategy. Among the world’s largest automotive suppliers, the client serves major vehicle manufacturers in more than 180 locations. The client and Secure-24 named B-WI the premier partner for its enterprise-wide initiative, delivering PLM and ALM software installation and application support from the USA and India for its worldwide operations. This contract will support 40+ servers and more than 9,500 users.

“In collaboration with Secure-24, this client has selected B-WI to deliver PLM software solutions and services across multiple time zones. We are proud to be working with them and look forward to providing leading-edge technologies and the support needed to transform their product lifecycle management and other enterprise systems at a global level,” said Jim Webb, executive partner of B-WI.

“B-WI will work with teams from the client and Secure-24 to deliver complex business system transformation and define a new level of engineering collaboration for multiple design centers,” said Kishore Garakipati, PLM director of B-WI.

The client and Secure-24 traveled in Sept 2014 to Barry-Wehmiller’s St. Louis headquarters to secure the agreement and meet with Barry-Wehmiller leadership and support team to begin a strong partnership for the initiative. The meeting allowed B-WI to present its full consulting platform capabilities that have supported Barry-Wehmiller’s ten global divisions. Along with this global portfolio, Barry-Wehmiller’s manufacturing legacy of 129 years demonstrated B-WI’s specific expertise with enterprise technology and operational excellence within the manufacturing environment.

“B-WI offers its clients total solutions that encompass the entire product lifecycle covering product design and engineering and manufacturing process improvements. This initiative will drive more business and engineering value for our client and accelerate their product development across the enterprise,” said Senthil Deivasigamany, executive partner of B-WI.
