AVEVA Partners with The Institute of Engineers Malaysia

AVEVAlogoMIRI, Malaysia, Dec 18, 2015 –  AVEVA announced today that it has collaborated with The Institute of Engineers Malaysia (IEM), Miri Branch. The IEM is a premier professional organisation in Malaysia. AVEVA, in conjunction with the IEM, will present a Technical Talk Series focusing on the marine and fabrication industries. The first session took place in late November to discuss how Lean methodologies applied in integrated engineering and design processes help businesses and engineering professionals to collaborate more effectively on design changes in order to reduce project risk, cost and timescales. Those engineers that attended the Technical Talk Series were given credits toward their continuing professional development (CPD) certification.

“The IEM’s technical programs are designed to raise awareness among its members of the latest developments in technology, issues and legislation related to engineering including marine engineering and naval architecture, both on a national and international level,” said Ir.
