HUNTSVILLE, AL, Sep 22, 2014 – Puma Energy, the fuels retailing arm of Swiss-based commodities trader Trafigura, has selected Intergraph CADWorx Plant Professional to help deliver a landmark fuel import terminal in Queensland, Australia.

Puma Energy entered the Australian market in 2011 with a view to supply fuel to the country’s mining industry. The company identified the need to build its own fuel import terminal in Mackay, Queensland, to support its planned activities. A secondary goal of this investment was to strengthen competition and supply in Australia’s fuel market.
Puma Energy selected AutoCAD-based CADWorx Plant Professional for its ability to complete a full model of the terminal – including all piping, structures, cable ladder, pipe supports and equipment – using a single Intergraph solution.
