Designers and architects utilizing building information modeling (BIM) have gained a new design aid in Anguleris Technologies’ cloud based platform, BIMsmith Forge. BIMsmith Forge provides a product neutral space for hundreds of standalone products to come together to form complete assemblies, just like they do in the real world. Building components can be inserted into other design platforms such as Autodesk Revit, complete with the exact size, product and finish that will be in the built project. The platform allows the user to save design combinations for later use and to easily modify designs.
