RANDOLPH, NJ, June 17, 2014 – moveIT is an innovative add-in application for Autodesk Inventor that enables control of a 3D model of a human body via Microsoft Kinect sensor. The new update of moveIT supports Autodesk Inventor 2014 and the installation package now contains a 3D model for use with the application.
When a human body model is placed into an assembly document, its movements can be controlled in a very intuitive way. For example, if you step in any direction, lift a hand, or bend an elbow, the 3D model of a human body in the Autodesk Inventor environment updates accordingly. This makes moveIT a perfect tool for making high level ergonomic assessments of designs prepared in Autodesk Inventor.
