Altem Wins Frost & Sullivan’s 3D Printing Technology Award

BENGALURU, India, Oct 18, 2017 – Altem Technologies, known for its work in the 3D printing industry in India, added another feather to its cap by winning the “Frost & Sullivan’s 2017 India 3D Printers Technology Innovation Award.”

Frost & Sullivan Best Practices Awards is a Global program that recognizes outstanding industry achievements by companies globally. The Jury selects the award winners using structured metrics based evaluation process. In 2017, a total of 57 awards were presented across industry sectors such as electronics & appliances, energy & environment, digital media, industrial automation & process control.

Altem was the only company that was awarded in the 3D printing segment, under industrial automation & process control category.

The company was recognized for its work in 3D printing for robust performance in terms of growth, portfolio of innovative services and key initiatives taken in the field of industry process control and automation. The award criteria included – industry impact, scalability, application diversity, financial performance and technology licensing.

Rajesh Mumbaraddi – director, Altem Technologies highlighted that, today’s industrial 3D printers, will help – in accelerating product innovation. And with increasing application coverage, it has become a must tool to aid in indigenization and “Make in India” programs for Engineering Product development companies.
