Allplan 2018-1 Announced for BIM

MUNICH, Germany, Apr 13, 2018 – ALLPLAN releases its latest version of its market-leading BIM solution Allplan 2018-1 for architects, and structural and civil engineers. This update focusses on enhancements with regards to user experience and improving the efficiency for the users’ daily work. This Allplan version enhances the users’ productivity and overall design quality.

Enhanced IFC4 Import and Optimized Usability

Last October, ALLPLAN introduced its new BIM solution Allplan 2018. Among the highlights were numerous improvements supporting BIM processes such as the optimized IFC4 data export. With the Allplan 2018-1 update there are now enhanced IFC4 import capabilities, further enhancing the BIM workflow.

With Allplan 2018 the new Actionbar was introduced, enabling users to quickly find the tools needed for their task. Based on client feedback, further enhancements have been implemented, making the Actionbar even more efficient, allowing quicker access to commands many of which are now available with just ‘one click’.

Allplan 2018-1 is available via the Auto Update function in Allplan or on Allplan Connect.
