PARIS, France, June 7, 2016 – Abvent SA has announced that it has signed a development agreement with BIMobject to build an app integrating the BIMobject Cloud and its product libraries in Twinmotion. The BIMobject-built app will provide users of Twinmotion with extensive options when building 3D environments, by allowing access to objects from the BIMobject Cloud directly in the software.
Offering more than 30,000 BIM files, BIMobject is one of the fastest growing digital platforms for BIM objects on the market. Making it possible for users worldwide to download objects in various file formats, BIMobject will, together with Abvent, facilitate real-time modeling of landscapes and sites in a 3D real-time quality, seen only in today’s games.
Abvent’s 3D immersion tool, Twinmotion, is an ideal solution for architects, engineers and professional designers who want to present projects to their clients before bringing them to life. It allows modeling of sites and import of 3D models as well as direct integration and new fields of experimentation and assistance in designing, sharing and communicating projects. The software lets users add objects, control in real time the effects of wind, rain or clouds, add trees and plants, as well as the flow of vehicles and/or characters. Creating an app that integrates it with BIMobject’s libraries is the next step to offering a strong interactive tool for the future of 3D simulation.
