Vero to Upgrade VISI Flow at Germany's K 2007
WIXOM,
MI, Oct 24, 2007 – Vero Software Plc, a leading supplier of CAD/CAM
software, will present the latest version of VISI Flow at
K 2007,
Dusseldorf, Germany (Hall No.13 B-76). Initially introduced to the injection
simulation market over 25 years ago, VISI Flow combines the powerful
versatility of VISI Modeling and the high result accuracy of finite element
analysis.

Combining a user friendly interface, short model preparation/calculation
times and Vero’s patented technology, VISI Flow provides the complete
solution for part or mould designers and plastic injection molding
technicians from filling analysis to warpage calculations and thermal
optimization analysis.
The latest release includes a new gas analysis tool for co-injection
molding. The new option calculates the volume of plastic to be used, the
melt front distribution, the delay time between melt and gas injection and
the spatial distribution of both the gas and plastic at any point during the
filling sequence.
Other new features include :
- The ability to import hot runners directly from VISI Modeling with
the definition of hot tips as triangulated geometry.
- The ability to import and re-mesh triangulated data from other FEM
solutions.
- Multi cavity support for runner repetitions.
- Thermal analysis of the conditioning system using both parallel and
serial circuits.
- GIF animation representing the evolution of any filling sequence.
About Vero Software Plc
The company creates, owns and distributes software for aiding the design
and manufacturing process in specific sectors of the industry. The specific
sectors include the design and manufacture of plastic injection moulds,
sheet metal stamping dies, progressive dies, shoe moulds, electrode
production and others. These widespread product types are in turn to be
found in a multitude of manufacturing industry sectors such as automotive,
electronic, medical, white goods and aerospace.
The original Vero Software company was formed in Italy in 1988 by four
engineers, each with many years of computer aided design and manufacturing
experience. The initial products were marketed under the VISI CAD and VISI
CAM names to meet the increasing demands for advanced yet practical software
solutions in the mechanical design and production environments.
The company firmly believes that step gains in productivity can be made
by building as much knowledge of specific design and machining processes
within it's software as possible. This philosophy of productivity through
specialization has led to new applications in the design of mould tools for
plastic injection and progressive dies.
The company has offices in Italy, England, Japan, France, Canada, USA and
China. VISI now has more than 15,000 users world-wide and over 1,000
Machining STRATEGIST users. The group now has more than 6,000 users
registered for its annual maintenance services and supplies products to more
than 40 countries through its wholly owned subsidiaries and competence
centers.
