PHOENIX, AZ, Feb 25, 2009 - TriStar Inc. is pleased to announce that it has expanded its presence in the northwest United States with a new regional director, two account managers, and an application engineer specializing in product lifecycle management.

This newly expanded service area provides the company’s customers in the area more local access to all of TriStar’s resources, which include PLM and engineering consulting, professional staffing services, and custom workstations and servers in addition to PTC software and training.

“Adding the breadth of experience that this team brings to the Northwest is one of the objectives we set out to accomplish in 2009,” said TriStar President Patrick Maderia. “I am happy to say we are on track for another record year despite the soft economic climate.”

TriStar has appointed Keith Bornstein to the position of western regional director, based in Hillsboro, OR. Bornstein has 10 years experience working with the PTC marketplace in the Northwest.

Josh Herman and Dave Krach have joined the company as account managers for Oregon and Washington, respectively. Herman is a Purdue graduate and has been supporting the local PTC market for the past year. Krach has vast experience in helping customers bring products to market, and is returning to the industry after a few years away.

Steve Vinyard will serve as application engineer for TriStar’s rapidly growing PLM services division, bringing to the team over three years experience implementing PTC’s data management and PLM toolsets.

“We believe this move will be great for our local customers,” said Bornstein. “After many years in the industry, I really understand what it means to have a local sales and engineering presence to fully support our customers. It is our goal to really understand the business processes and challenges around product development, and help deliver the best solutions.”

In addition to these four new team members, TriStar plans to hire a local application engineer for MCAD in the coming weeks to better support its Pro/ENGINEER customers in the region.
