TFTLabs Ships TFTPad v1.0 for 3D Viewing on Mobile, Tablet
BRON,
France, Feb 8, 2012 - TFTLabs S.A.S, announces today TFTPadTM, Android
application, to view directly your 3D Native file and JSON3D format on
Mobile/Tablet platform. After the announcement of TFTWeb designed to
communicate and collaborate on 3D data, on various operating systems and
browsers (such as Google Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Safari), with
TFTPad you can now access and share the same 3D data from your Mobile or Tablet.
TFTPad is fully compatible with TFTWeb.
With TFTPad, simply open 3D files and view, rotate, pan and zoom onto your
Mobile/Tablet; workflows include:
-
Access and view directly your 3D native file
or JSON3D file from a Web server.
-
Access and view your 3D native file or JSON3D
file stored locally on mobile device.

As TFTWeb, TFTPad works directly on data coming from all native or generic
CAD formats (more than 20 formats) up to their latest revision. Both are based
on same infrastructure and open JSON3D file format, optimized for Web
transmission and exploitation.
“With TFTPad, TFTLabs broadens its product offering around the 3D Web
interoperability without constraint of platforms. Open JSON3D format was
designed on purpose to fit both web and mobile platforms. This makes a big
difference in terms of ubiquity and performance for our users.” says Francois
Chretien, CEO and Chief Scientist.
Next version of TFTPad will be available on iOS (iPad and iPhone). For more
