TEDCF Offers Inventor 2010 Sheet Metal Course
SPRINGVILLE,
CA, Aug 5, 2009 - TEDCF Publishing, a leading Autodesk Authorized Publisher
of interactive courses for Autodesk Inventor, today announced the
availability of Autodesk Inventor 2010: Sheet Metal Design, the
fourth course in a series of certified courses for Autodesk Inventor 2010.
While showing you how to use the new sheet metal commands, author David
Melvin, PE goes beyond the commands to explain how they work together to
create complex sheet metal parts.

Sheet metal design 2010 lesson player
The Sheet Metal Design course is designed to progressively build strong
modeling and assembly skills while you learn to use all the commands in the
Sheet Metal environment. Once you've mastered the advanced topics, you learn
how to work with the Frame Generator and how to create custom frame members.
By the end of the course you can weld all the members of a custom frame, and
then add your sheet metal parts to the assembly.
The Lesson Player, shown above, fills a 1024 X 768 screen. It
automatically tracks your progress, so all you need is a computer with
speakers. The Lesson Player does the rest.
Lesson Player Attributes:
- Large Screen Display
- Caption - Captions can be turned on or off depending on your needs.
- Automatic Course Layout - The course starts with basic concepts and
builds to more advanced concepts.
- Automatic Book Marking - The course automatically opens on the last
viewed lesson.
- Fully Indexed - The Memory Jogger allows you to enter keyword
phrases to find a particular lesson.
- Lesson Slider Control - Quickly moves you to quickly to any point in
a lesson.
- Volume Slider Control - Adjust the volume for your comfort.
- Time Displays - Total length and current position of each lesson is
displayed so you can budget your time.
"I
think that Autodesk hit a home run this year when it comes to improvements
in the Sheet Metal environment." said David Melvin, PE, author of the
course. "The Lofted Flange and Contour Roll commands are significant
additions. With the ability to partially unfold parts, edit them, and then
refold them, this version has more power than previous versions. It was a
pleasure writing this course, and I'm sure that those who watch it will
enjoy learning the new commands and techniques."
TEDCF's customers are amply satisfied with the power of this course, as
indicated from a marketing study conducted by TEDCF Publishing. While the
courses significantly helped new Inventor users quickly get up to speed, the
study shows that those already familiar with Inventor experienced as much as
a 40% increase in productivity.
