SIMPOE SAS announced today the immediate availability of SimpoeLINK-V5, a dedicated interface to read CATIA V5 model files in their native format for direct analysis with Simpoe-Mold plastic injection simulation software .

With SimpoeLINK-V5, Simpoe-Mold users can directly and automatically import CATIA V5 model files into Simpoe-Mold for simulation analysis, without having to worry about exporting these model files into a neutral format, such as STEP or IGES. SimpoeLINK-V5 will check the integrity of the part, and suppress the time consuming task of transferring the model file through a neutral format, allowing Simpoe-Mold users to focus on the analysis for part design and manufacturing optimization.
