Sigmetrix Releases CETOL 6 Sigma v8.0 for Pro/E
MCKINNEY,
TX, Feb 21, 2008 – Sigmetrix, LLC a software integration company,
strategic partner with PTC since 1990 and the preferred supplier of
tolerance analysis software for Pro/ENGINEER customers, today
announced that it has released Version 8.0 of its CETOL 6 Sigma for
Pro/ENGINEER software, the single most comprehensive re-engineering
of the product since Sigmetrix first introduced CETOL technologies
into the market.
“We are committed to innovate mechanical tolerance analysis
technologies that accelerate product quality maturity by providing
an integrated environment that promotes engineering best practices,”
says Tim Bogard, President & CEO at Sigmetrix. “CETOL 6 Sigma
Version 8.0 for Pro/ENGINEER achieves this and empowers users to
attain product design performance and manufacturing cost goals at
more demanding quality levels.”
Sigmetrix has over 20 years of research and development focused
on driving down the complexity of 3D tolerance modeling while
improving the precision and robustness of results. Introduction of
the most comprehensive assembly constraint technology coupled with a
dynamic analysis and reporting system have made CETOL 6 Sigma
Version 8.0 a true breakthrough release and sets a new standard for
any tolerance analysis products on the market today.
CETOL 6 Sigma Version 8.0 features a large number of significant
new capabilities, including advanced sensitivity animation,
tolerance model template re-use on similar designs, modeling advisor
technology to aid the user through the process of setting up the
desired tolerance model and an analysis, optimization and reporting
system that will allow more engineers and designers the ability to
get reliable tolerance optimization decisions in much shorter
cycles.
“Sigmetrix has achieved something with the CETOL 6 Sigma Version
8.0 that has never been done before. We have introduced assembly and
feature constraint technology that has provided a finer level of
resolution in understanding how variation precisely impacts assembly
model behavior. Coupled to the advanced modeling technology is our
post processor technology which provides analysis results,
interrogation tools, report automation and flexible data management
solutions all integrated in a fully interactive tolerance
information manager that sets a new standard for tolerance analysis
solutions. This new level of capability is necessary in order to
meet the demanding quality requirements of next generation products
in many of our customers who have outgrown other solutions in use
today”.
Sigmetrix' mechanical variation modeling and analysis methodology
is also incorporated into the new Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire 4.0
Tolerance Analysis Extension Powered by CETOL Technology. The new
module provides very fast 1-D tolerance stack-up and gap analysis
directly in the CAD model enabling design engineers to evaluate the
impact of tolerances and dimensioning schemes on the feasibility of
product designs.
About Sigmetrix, LLC
Sigmetrix designs, develops, markets and globally supports
tolerance analysis solutions used to unite the “ideal” world of
product design with the “real” world of manufacturing and assembly.
With over 20 years of research and development, Sigmetrix is focused
on eliminating the error between predictive tolerance models and
measured physical results in the factory. Through intuitive modeling
technologies, engineers construct very precise tolerance variation
models directly from the CAD geometry. Sigmetrix advanced analytical
solutions and specialized services allow companies in virtually all
industries to gain profound insight into the behavior of their
products. This insight allows customers to objectively balance
competing requirements and achieve exceptional return on their
investment.
