Korea's HYOSUNG Expands Use of Siemens Solid Edge with ST

TX, Sep 29, 2008 - Siemens PLM Software, a business unit of the Siemens
Industry Automation Division and a leading global provider of product
lifecycle management (PLM) software and services, today announced they are
providing Power & Industrial Systems Performance Group of HYOSUNG with
additional seats of Solid Edge software with Synchronous Technology,
bringing their total seat count of Siemens PLM Software technology to more
than 100.
Power & Industrial Systems Performance Group of HYOSUNG, which originally
deployed Solid Edge in 2001, will expand its existing deployment of Solid
Edge with additional seats to accelerate its process of innovation and
improve its product development quality, while reducing time to market. The
company has conducted a series of customized Solid Edge training sessions
for its new and existing designers and plans to use the software for all
current and future design processes.
Solid Edge with synchronous technology is a core component of the
Velocity Series portfolio and combines the speed and flexibility of direct
modeling with the precise control of dimension-driven design, providing a
fast, flexible design experience.
Power & Industrial Systems Performance Group of HYOSUNG currently uses
the Teamcenter platform, Siemens PLM Software’s digital lifecycle management
solution, as its product data management solutions to enhance process
transparency and information sharing across the enterprise.
