ATLANTA, GA, Apr 11, 2008 - Quickparts, the leading online provider of custom manufactured plastic and metal parts, announced today the availability of the new FDM material, ABS-M30. ABS-M30 complements Quickparts’ current line of FDM materials, including ABS, Polycarbonate, PCABS, and PCABSi. Prototypes made from the new FDM material can now be quoted instantly online using Quickparts’ patented QuickQuote process. All material properties and data sheets are also available online at website.

ABS-M30 is 25-70 percent stronger than standard ABS and is an ideal material for conceptual prototyping, design verification, and direct digital manufacturing. ABS-M30 has greater tensile, impact and flexural strength than standard ABS, for a more durable part.

“We are continuing to expand our line of rapid prototyping processes and materials in order to meet our customers’ needs, making us the leading service provider in respect to the largest variety of processes, materials and lead-times,” said Patrick Hunter, vice president, Quickparts.
