QuadriSpace Releases Document3D 2009 Service Pack 2

documentation software, announces the release of Document3D 2009 service
pack 2.
New features include:
- Larger 3D models - The latest release of the Document3D product line
includes many new capabilities that make it easy to work with large 3D
models. Users of SP2 benefit from up to 30% reduction in memory usage
and users running on 64-bit computers will now have double the amount of
memory available; so larger and larger models can be used with good
performance.
- Automatically organize large models - Another highlight is that user can
quickly create configurations automatically from sub-assemblies.
Configurations allow you to create subsets of parts that are very
effective at helping to organize and work with large, complicated models.
Configurations can be used to create parts lists or exploded views from a
subset of parts.
- Create graphics and animations from parts lists or exploded steps -
Document3D 2009 SP2 includes a new wizard to automatically create multiple
illustrations from a list of parts or from a step-by-step exploded view.
These illustrations can then be quickly customized and published as a set of
images or as an animated video.
- Text boxes upgrades - Pages3D includes a number of improvements to text
editing. These upgrades include: new dialogs for more text control, improved
copy/paste support between applications such as Microsoft Word and better
and more complete undo/redo support.
- Windows 7 - Support for the recent Microsoft Windows 7 release.
- SolidWorks 2010 - Support for the latest release of SolidWorks 3D CAD
software.
