PETACH TIKVA, Israel, Apr 9, 2008 - OptiTex, the leading CAD/CAM design
software manufacturer has announced that it has continued its pattern of
successful global expansion with the opening of new offices in Belgium and Bangalore, India, striking a partnership agreement with Luidi of Los
Angeles, and inking distribution agreements with Neural Technology S.A.C. of
Peru and D&S Associates (Pvt) Ltd of Sri Lanka.
“Our dramatic growth via new offices, strategic partnerships and
distributorships is further validation of the unique advantages of our
software,” states Ran Machtinger, President and CEO of OptiTex, Ltd. “We’re
especially appreciative that Luidi Design, an industry leader stressing the
early adaptation of integrating technology into the design process has
provided us with a variety of key installations in Los Angeles such as
Cherokee Uniform, ABS By Allen Schwartz, Team Work Apparel, Kikwear, and
California Customs. This continues to reinforce that we have provided the
textile industries with a vital tool.”
“OptiTex software has become a ‘must have’ for almost all, designers
ranging from the top names in design to the home hobbyist,” according to
David Darzian, President of Luidi Designs. “The idea that individuals can
use fully adjustable 2D and 3D models and adapt any aspect of their designs
before the first bolt of fabric is cut and eliminate waste to enhance the
bottom line is of paramount importance in such a competitive field.” Luidi
is a leader in integrating technology into the design process.
OptiTex’s cutting-edge CAD/CAM software not only increases speed to
market, it provides an environmentally friendly, green edge by reducing
machine/kilowatt use and manpower hours, beyond the obvious benefits of
eliminating fabric waste. It also provides a fully customizable on-screen
work environment to facilitate the creative process.
With distributors throughout North America, Europe Africa, the Middle
East, Asia, and Australia, designers worldwide are already accessing the
many benefits of OptiTex’s unique approach to design.
“It’s amazing how quickly we’ve established ourselves as the gold
standard across various textile industries,” continues Machtinger. “We’ve
also amassed an amazing array of installations in major educational centers
driven by our broad acceptance in the apparel, automotive, aerospace,
upholstery, and industrial fabrics industries. They realized that their
graduates need to be facile with our technology to be competitive in the
marketplace.”
