Optimal Solutions Releases SculptorPLUS for CFD/FEA

UT, Mar 20, 2008 - Optimal Solutions Software, LLC, developer of Sculptor,
the world’s leading CAE real-time design deformation technology, is pleased
to announce a major release to its clients: SculptorPLUS. SculptorPLUS
will incorporate the product’s existing features, as well as the
below-described attributes, and give the customer the choice to include the
T-Spline and/or Grid Clip options described below.

Functions of SculptorPLUS:
- Copy and translate an arbitrary shape deformation (ASD) volume.
- Add and delete planes to a volume by a mouse click.
- Shrink-wrap a volume around a grid.
- Incorporate overlapping volumes.
Volume #1(above) changes position and/or orientation
of the vane; Volume #2 changes position/shape of the inlet
- Perform the parallelization of the freezing task.
- Improved graphical user interface.
- Incorporate user-defined coordinate systems.
- Introduce T-spline volumes, which permit the insertion of single
control points:
Control points can now be added between planes without
propagating; fine local control deformation, with significantly fewer
control points.
- Grid Clip - Another optional feature of the SculptorPLUS tool is the
ability to clip out a portion of a FLUENT case file; deform it; and
paste it back into the original file:
