Oce TCS4XT Color Scanner Handles Thick Originals

delivery systems, announces the availability of the Oce TCS4XT color
scanner, which supports rigid and thick originals up to 0.6” thick while
retaining all the functionality of the current Oce TC4 scanner.
About Oce TCS4XT Color Scanner
Similar to the Oce TC4 scanner, the Oce TCS4XT high-quality scanner
supports monochrome and full color scanning in one easy-to-use system. The
efficient, flexible Oce TCS4XT scans documents at 600 dpi at over 16’ per
minute in black & white and at an exact 1:1 ratio without any user
intervention. To support thick original scanning, the Oce TCS4XT scanner
features a flat 10” feeding table in front of the scanner; a flat,
retractable 30” receiving table in the rear of the scanner; and a lever in
the scanner top cover to allow adjustments for originals thicker than 0.12”.
An attractive option for reprographers and government users, the Oce
TCS4XT easily captures information from thick originals, like applications
involving mounted maps or legal booklets, for immediate copying, electronic
distribution and archiving. This new scanner is available for use as part of
the Oce TDS450, the Oce TDS700 and the Oce TCS500 multifunction systems.
Availability
The new Oce TCS4XT thick original color scanner is available now. The Oce
TC4 scanner cannot be upgraded to an Oce TCS4XT scanner.
