MUNICH,
Germany, July 31, 2008 - The Nemetschek Group, leading vendor worldwide for
information technology for the design, construction and management of
buildings, achieves its goals in the first half of 2008. In a challenging
economic environment the group once again improves on all key figures.
Revenues increase by 5.1% to 73.3 million euros
Nemetschek increases revenues by 5.1% to 73.3 million euros. Adjusted to
take currency fluctuations into account, growth is at 7.5%. The Design
segment contributes the lion’s share with segment up by 6.8% to 59.9 million
euros. This positive trend is attributable to international business in
particular. Compared with the same period in the previous year, revenues
abroad increase by 2.0 million euros to 45.9 million euros, thus accounting
for two thirds of the group’s overall revenues. At 27.4 million euros,
revenues in Germany are up by 1.6 million euros.
EBITDA increases by 9.7% to 15.3 million euros
Nemetschek increases the operating result (EBITDA) by 9.7% to 15.3
million euros compared with 13.9 million euros in 2007. This corresponds to
an EBITDA margin of 20.8% compared with 19.9% in the same period last year.
The earnings per share improve by 18.3% to 0.69 euros.
High period cash flow thanks to good results
In the first half of 2008, the group achieved a period cash flow of 14.1
million euros, up from 13.1 million euros in 2007. The cash flow from
ordinary activities amounts to 16.2 million euros and is thus stable at last
year’s level.
