Allplan 2009 Architecture and Engineering Free for Schools
 MUNICH,
Germany, May 18, 2009 - At the start of the summer semester, Nemetschek
Allplan is intensifying its commitment to the education and training of
tomorrow’s workforce. The new program
Allplan Campus is targeted at
pupils, students and teachers of architecture and civil engineering. In
addition to free access to the latest full version of the Allplan 3D
planning software, it offers a communication platform for information
exchange and a new coaching program for both new and experienced Allplan
users.
The heart of Allplan Campus is a new internet portal. At
www.allplan-campus.com. pupils
and students can download the full version of Allplan 2009 Architecture and
Engineering for free. In addition, a forum and more than one hundred
training films provide answers to questions on working with Allplan – from
drawing simple 2D details or three-dimensional building modeling with
quantity takeoff through to presentations with CINEMA 4D. Future civil
engineers discover how they can create general arrangement and reinforcement
designs or calculate a static system with Allplan.
The online platform is geared to fast and enjoyable learning success:
based on a real project, a Quick-Start program explains how Allplan
operates. New users are then able to draw a simple model after just a few
minutes.
Coaching for students and teachers
In order to ensure learning success over the long term, Nemetschek
Allplan has set up a new mentor program. Around 20 students are currently
available at universities as trainers and points of contact. To find out who
is an Allplan Coach at the particular institution, the interested party
simply logs on to the internet portal and the information is displayed
automatically. In addition, the software company is continuing the free
training series for teachers to become Nemetschek Certified Instructors.
