MWH Soft Extends Abstract Deadline for Conference
Abstracts now due April 17
BROOMFIELD,
CO, Mar 20, 2009 - The theme of the
2009 User Group Conference is "Advanced Network Modeling to Reduce
Capital and Operational Expenses…The Power of Less" and will focus on using
MWH Soft software to optimize utilities management during tough economic
times. Furthering this theme, the event is immediately preceding the
American Water Works Association’s annual Distribution Systems Symposium (DSS)
-- allowing attendees to attend to conferences for one travel budget.
Presentations will be geared toward achieving operational, engineering
and planning efficiencies and cost savings through the use of hydraulic
modeling, computerized asset management/capital planning, and automated pipe
design.
Utilities and their consultants are encouraged to submit abstracts in one
of the following categories:
- Water Distribution Modeling
- Sewer/Storm Water Modeling
- GIS/Model Building
- Asset Management
- Pipeline Design
