BROOMFIELD, CO, Mar 20, 2009 - The theme of the 2009 User Group Conference is "Advanced Network Modeling to Reduce Capital and Operational Expenses…The Power of Less" and will focus on using MWH Soft software to optimize utilities management during tough economic times. Furthering this theme, the event is immediately preceding the American Water Works Association’s annual Distribution Systems Symposium (DSS) -- allowing attendees to attend to conferences for one travel budget.

Presentations will be geared toward achieving operational, engineering and planning efficiencies and cost savings through the use of hydraulic modeling, computerized asset management/capital planning, and automated pipe design.

Utilities and their consultants are encouraged to submit abstracts in one of the following categories:

  • Water Distribution Modeling
  • Sewer/Storm Water Modeling
  • GIS/Model Building
  • Asset Management
  • Pipeline Design

Submit your abstract.
