Interface between TopSolid'Wood and Blum Dynaplan Announced
France, May 19, 2011 - Missler Software and Blum are happy to announce a new partnership between the 2
companies which enables TopSolid’Wood users to automatically reconstruct
furniture that has been designed with Dynaplan. The French CAD/CAM software
developer and the leading manufacturer of cabinet and furniture hardware have
closely collaborated together to generate a Dynaplan interface directly
available from TopSolid’Wood.
The new interface permits TopSolid’Wood users to recover all furniture
made in Dynaplan and to exploit and use this in TopSolid’Wood for assembly,
draft creation and machining purposes. The TopSolid’Wood user thus benefits
from 2 important advantages:
Dominique Laffret, Vice President of Strategic Relationships at Missler
Software, is very enthusiastic about this unprecedented partnership: « We
are very happy to collaborate with Blum on this project which will give our
customers direct access to the Blum and Dynaplan component libraries
directly from TopSolid’Wood. Blum is a leading worldwide hardware
manufacturer and it is very important for us to provide an advanced Blum
interface to our users. Today the interface between TopSolid’Wood and the
Blum and Dynaplan libraries is one of the most advanced that exists with a
CAD/CAM software solution. »
According to Christophe Chenu, General Director of Blum France « We are
very happy about the new partnership with Missler Software. TopSolid’Wood is
an increasingly well-known CAD/CAM software reference in the wood industry.
This partnership not only allows us to increase our potential customer base
but it also enables us to develop and improve our components by taking into
account the suggestions of Missler Software. »
The new interface is available in the 2011 version of TopSolid’Wood which
is available on the French and international markets since March 2011.
