LMS Moves to New Troy Office
TROY,
MI,
May 21, 2008 - LMS, the engineering innovation company, is proud to announce
an Open House celebration to unveil its new North American Headquarters to
the public. After many years of continued growth in the North American
market LMS has moved to a new corporate headquarters in Troy, Michigan. LMS
has been located in the Troy area since it opened its first North American
office in 1989 with only 6 employees. The new headquarters comfortably fits
the almost 90 employees of the North American operations and allows for the
continued growth and expansion.
The new facility enables LMS to further intensify and improve customer
interactions through extensive meeting rooms, training facilities and open
office spaces. The engineering laboratory allows LMS Engineering Services to
conduct in-depth simulation, product testing and evaluation with an improved
control over security and testing conditions.
The Open House celebration will be held at the North American
headquarters on May 27th from 3PM to 7PM. LMS executive management from
global headquarters in Leuven, Belgium will be attending to give key note
presentations and personally greet customers who plan on attending. Dr.
Urbain Vandeurzen, Chairman and CEO of LMS, will personally host the ribbon
cutting ceremony. Technical demonstrations of LMS products will also be
given throughout the facility for people to interact with and learn more
about LMS products and services. Local dignitaries from the area will also
be in attendance to meet LMS customers and employees.
The celebration will also highlight LMS’s many years of continued success
in the North American market. The LMS solutions include test and simulation
tools used by leading manufactures to optimize product performance in the
areas of noise, vibration, durability, dynamics, electrical, mechatronic,
thermal, energy management, and fuel economy.. These tools have been
embraced by many industries from automotive to aerospace to consumer goods
to defense. For many Automotive OEMs, aircraft manufacturers, and ‘white
goods’ producers the unique offering of test and simulation products
integrated under one common architecture by one company have saved literally
millions in improved product design and development. Engineering test data
and simulation models can easily be shared across entire organizations with
LMS solutions making it easy for global companies with engineering centers
around the world to collaborate with one another.
