Norway's Paal Reksten Wins LightWorks Image Competition

LightWork Design, the world's leading
supplier of rendering solutions for developers of advanced 3D
computer graphics software, today announced the winner of the first
LightWorks Image Competition. There was a fantastic response to the competition, with some really
outstanding images submitted. Entries came in from across the
globe,
and from a wide variety of market sectors, each rendered using the LightWorks rendering engine within different software applications. As a result of the number of high quality images received, the
Judging Committee decided to award two additional highly commended
prizes to Igor Carreira and Doug Caplan in the form of iTunes
vouchers.

The winning entry in the inaugural LightWorks Image Competition came from Paal Reksten. Paal works for Opus Architects, an architectural
firm in Haugesund, Norway and uses form.Z software, with its
integrated LightWorks rendering engine.
"I am delighted that my image has been chosen as the winner of the
LightWorks User Image Competition. I use LightWorks on a daily basis
to create photorealistic visualizations and artistic illustrations.
Its close integration within form.Z makes it easy to use, and enables
me to create realistic design presentations for my projects within a

Entries to the second quarter competition are already coming in and
LightWorks users are encouraged to send in their work before the closing
date of 30th June 2008
