Leica fieldPro v2.0 Released for Surveying

Switzerland, Jan 22, 2008 – With its newly launched Version 2.0 of Leica
fieldPro, accurate 2D/3D “as-built” documentation has never been easier.
With such mobile CAD software and Leica Geosystems sensors, all information
is captured on-site, in real-time and in its final deliverable CAD format,
no post-processing back in the office. When you leave site the full scope of
your work is done.
Leica fieldPro, mobile CAD software, is the on-site and on-demand field
solution to AS-BUILT in Architecture, Engineering and Construction (AEC) as
well as Surveying.
- Leica fieldPro creates 2D or 3D CAD models of any site feature
captured with survey equipment in real time (DISTO, TPS, GPS)
- Leica fieldPro performs construction stakeout directly from 2D or 3D
CAD models with survey equipment (TPS, GPS)
- Leica fieldPro is a plug-in for AutoCAD and Autodesk products such
as Civil 3D, Land Desktop, Map 3D, Architecture, Mechanical Desktop,
etc.
Develop 3D plant models on-site and in real-time CADWorx fieldPipe for
Leica fieldPro solution interfaces with Survey Total Stations to as-built
plant and piping components to create full scale specification-driven 3D
models using proven capabilities of COADE’s CADWorx Plant Professional. 3D
Models are created in real-time, on-site, and without any post-processing –
saving valuable time and money. The CADWorx option is a full license of
CADWorx Plant Professional which includes piping, steel, HVAC, cable trays,
automatic isometrics, bill of material and bi-directional links to stress
analysis. The CADWorx fieldPipe for Leica fieldPro option as well as the
fieldPipe standalone option have been enhanced with multiple additions, such
as Pipe Orthogonization.
Furthermore, Dimension Control option, available since version 1.4, which
allows for flange alignment and bolt orientation accurate measurements and
analysis has been enhanced with version 2.0.

Leica fieldPro Version 2.0 is compatible with AutoCAD 2008, 2006, 2005
and 2004, Windows XP. It supports any TPS sensor, Leica Builder, TPS400,
700, 800, 1200 and any GPS sensor, SmartAntenna Leica ATX1230, Leica GPS
1200 and Leica GPS 500.
